Environmental Policy Statement
The management and staff of Bio-Sciences are committed to safeguarding the environment by adopting strategies that are favourable to minimising the impact of our business activities on the environment.
Bio-Sciences Ltd is on the WEEE register and has submitted a Waste Management Plan to the EPA, showing our commitment to environmentally friendly waste disposal.
The key points of our strategy to achieve this are:
- Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst its customers.
- Meet or exceed all the Environmental legislation that is relative to Bio-Sciences Limited.
- Minimise catalogue use by offering electronic literature and quotations to our customers where practical.
- Minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.
- Minimise pollution by ensuring we use environmentally favourable products in our day to day operation.
- Conduct regular checks of practices and procedures and respond to any deficiencies identified through a planned programme of remedial action.
